Summer 2008/2009 Activities

The Centre will be organising Summer Activities during the Holidays. To kick off, we will be begin with Performing Arts in Summer the aim of which is to present a short play on certain events in Islamic History. The Play will be showcased at the beginning of the Term next year. Within our Community we have several professional Muslim playwright/producers and they have volunteered to train the children. Part of the performance will include a Nasheed section and the activities will strictly follow the tenets and etiquette in Islam and will not contravene Islamic principles. This will be a break from normal class sessions, but hopefully will be enjoyable for the children to play and learn about Islam.
